KISI Opens its Doors for TEP Attendees

After beating 220 other participants in the NYC Next Idea Competition in 2013, KISI founders Max Schuetz, Bernhard Mehl, and Carl Pfeiffer decided it was time to bring their company from Munich to New York City. KISI is a combination of “keys” and “easy.” It enables people to lock and unlock their doors with virtual keys on their smartphones. KISI is essentially a smartphone app paired with a small device integrated with a building’s electronic access system. On September 3, TEP attendees will have the chance to have a closer look at KISI as the company opens its doors for an on-site visit.
